Hey there! I’m Christie—trainer, behaviour nerd, and full-time dog devotee behind Oceanside Dog Training.
A little about myself: I’ve been working with dogs professionally for just about 7 years and have had a passion for working with dogs since I was a kid. I earned my Dog Training Diploma in 2020 after working at a dog kennel in Alberta and falling in love with the art of dog training.
Since then I have focused my life around it. Working at a couple dog boarding facilities, raising a reactive and under socialized puppy during covid who is now my sidekick that helps other reactive dogs see the good in the world, training service dogs and finding my niche in reactivity training and confidence building.

We focus on essential foundations, public-access skills, and task development tailored to the handler’s needs. With guided structure and clear communication, we help teams grow together with trust, accuracy, and consistency.
